DLU
The Disability Legislation Unit of Vidya Sagar, was set up in collaboration with NCPEDP (National Centre for the Promotion of Employment of Disabled People), New Delhi. There are four other units in Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati and Bhuvaneshwar. The DLU has been created to meet the twin objectives of ensuring that first, appropriate laws and policies are formulated and implemented; and second, that persons with disabilities are empowered to take advantage of their rights and contribute to the growth of the disability movement.

Padhai was started in 2002. Padhai mainly aims at the upliftment and the welfare of girls who are homeless and those who had come out for some reason or the other. So far Padhai has succeeded in joining 58 girls back
with their families.
Currently Padhai consists of 23 girls ( 4 years to 22 years). They take care of them and send them to schools and colleges. They also arrange jobs for them and support them till marriage.
